The office keeps different hours from the studios, and the honest version of that is more useful than a single line that is wrong twice a day.
The office is answered from ten in the morning. Between four and eight in the evening every member of staff is in a studio teaching, so a message left then is answered the following morning rather than during the class you are watching from the corridor.
Metered parking on 61st Street and free on the side streets after six, which is when the building is busiest If you are dropping off rather than staying, the side streets are the easier option for anything longer than a minute or two.
Five minutes on foot from the 61st Street - Woodside station, which is both the elevated line and the commuter railroad, and the route from it to the door is step-free the whole way. It is a walk worth doing rather than driving for, on any evening when the weather allows it — parking near the building is exactly as tight as you would expect at the hour a school like this one is busiest.
